OK...scenario...you just got a 'free new amp' coupon(  )....money is no object, you can buy any new amp you want, you just have to keep it and not re-sell for profit(  ). Any Diezel, Peters, Mesa, Rhodes, Friedman, Bogner, Soldano, Marshall etc etc.....you guys really would choose the EVH? And yes you can include the Stealth...
Yes.....EVH Stealth all day long for me. No second thought.
But what I like and others like is going to be different though. ;)

How many times do,I have to say that the best sounding new mass produced amp today is the EVH 5150iii. I wish I would have known this 3 years ago but I hate the peavey 6505 and could not get into the 5150 distortion sound by itself. So I never thought I'd like the 5150 iii man I've made some mistakes but if I could go back in time. I would have an EVH combo stealth and 50,watt maybe a hundred watt with all the money I have, thrown away because of my habit lol

Dude I ....woulda.... Shoulda ...Coulda... myself all the time on gear I had. Screw it..its just gear. Have fun! :D

This is crazy talk! Is the Stealth a different circuit from the standard? Which one sounds best... 25, 50, or 100 watt? Do they sound better than a Boogie Mark V 25, Marshall Jubilee, Cornford, Cameron, Bogner, and Henning?

Been playing her at low volume in my office at home. Wife left for the day and I rolled her out to our 2 story living room where she had plenty of air to move. Sounds awesome at low volume.....sounds beyond awesome cranked!!!!! What an amp!

Is yours a 2x12? How many watts is it? Does the combo sound better than the stack? Is it heavy?

I never heard the original 5153 in any version. Had the 5150...5150 II....several camerons...lot of other various toys thru the years. I dont think the stealth is a different circuit. Just a modded 5150 III from what Eddie rambles on about. :D

I have a 2x12 EVH combo in my shop and you have to be freaking Hercules to lift that thing.

It's the 112. 50 watts. Never played the stack. It weighs 64lbs.

Wow! That's nearly as heavy as a 2x12 AC30. You guys have me interested in this amp. I played a 100 watt at Sam Ash, but couldn't get what I considered to be a usable sound... Maybe it was a dud?

I had a 5150 combo back when they first came out. That thing was ridiculous heavy!
