There are only two pickups, what do all those switches and buttons do?

I think one is a phase switch and two are coil splitters.

Carvin guitars look great..wonder what they play like...

Dunno if you've seen his but Deathmonkey's guitars are sooo sexy

Garage door opener, remote drink blender, remote microwave, remote George Foreman Grill

I'm not a fan of maple tops, but theirs always seem to look a little different to me (in a good way). I've been debating getting a DC727.

A few months back I was on the Carvin forum. Some dude that owns a ton of Carvins has a trans green one that is absolutely beautiful.

my carvin is arriving on friday and it's pretty much the same thing in a different finish/hardware colors, birds eye maple fretboard, and a reverse headstock.
it's going to be a glorious day on friday. i can't wait!

also, that guitar might have a wilkinson acoustic tremolo so it has that piezeo option, that's what mine has :D

I don't care for the look of any Carvin's except the Bolt models. I had one and it was a great guitar. Played real well and sounded awesome with the stock Carvin pickups.

man, those carvins, you breathe heavy on the neck and they fret! great necks and action.

I have though of the 7 string but I have to play one first, done with that blind taste crap.

I've got a TL60 that plays better than ANY PRS I've ever tried. Natural finish over quilt top. The top would be considered a "10" top on a PRS, it's that nice. I was fairly happy with the stock pickups, 'till I put a Hotrails in the bridge, and a Coolrails in the neck. Much better. Their pickups are not bad, but not on up to the quality of their guitars. The Bolt is the only model that I don't care for.

I still have yet to play a Carvin that I've liked. Some played good but didn't sound good, some sounded ok but had beat necks on them. I just don't see many of them used in local stores much anymore.

They play like butter :)
I had a DC 727 (had to sell it for economical reasons) and it was wonderful. IF I ever can afford a 7-string again, the possibility of another Carvin is imminent :D

When i was out at namm i played a bunch of carvins at the Carvin store on the BLVD. I really liked them actually, the 7 strings were gorgeous! nice guys at the shop to!

My DDC727 is one of the nicest guitars I've ever played (or owned)
once I got the stock pickups out and dropped in a set of BareKnuckles I was all set.
the best 7 string I've played yet. the Loomis was nice too! I've got an OFR on there now too (I need some new pics).

I truly wished every guitar makers fret work and fit and finish of the necks was as good as Carvins
they come perfectly setup out of the box...nothing needed!

Ya, this is because people are in no hurry to get rid of their Carvins.
