I hated to looks of my old Schecter Gryphon..so, went to Home Depot and painted her! Love it.

Can't believe you left all the parts in. Kind of like an Earl Schieb paintjob for guitars. "i'll paint any car for 99.95!"
Yup. It was a $300 guitar I bought back in the day didn’t wanna spend any time on it just sanded her down got a can of spray paint from Home Depot now it looks exactly the way I wanted it to rough around the edges but sounding great
 
I don’t want a pretty glossy fancy guitar I want it to look like an older 80s relic that’s been through a lot of fun times. Any more scrapes and scratches that come upon it naturally now will be welcomed.
