If Wayne puts a Guitar/Bass switch on a pedal, I have to buy it. I now add this to my collection. My CE MOD showed up today.

I'm about to take it to the jam spot and do a shootout with my rusty dusty Boss CE-2 and see what's up.

Interested to hear about your results. My guess is you can save the Boss as a backup cause Wayne builds an awfully nice pedal! Have fun brother!!!

I ended up starting my first mow of the season after work yesterday, so I didn't get any farther than opening the box and setting the pedal next to my board.
How did the chorus sound?

So, my Boss CE-2 has seen better days. The LED barely came on, and the signal was pretty weak. I didn't really compare the CE MOD to the actual CE-2. I did, however, shoot it out with the Earthquaker Devices Sea Machine, which is what I use on my board, and wad on my bassist's board. The low end passed through the CE MOD was massive. It almost made it seem louder than the Sea Machine because of all the bass. With the switches down, this is my new favorite bass chorus by far.

As for the chorus itself, it was luscious and crisp. The mix knob is a great feature because it lets you dial in a deep, rich chorus and blend it back to subtlety. With the rate and depth jacked and set wet, it definitely got onto the "Seasick" territory of the EQD. Really, the only thing the Sea Machine did that the CE MOD didn't is the "Dimension" knob, which is an echo that goes from reverb to slapback craziness. I won't miss that.

This thing is kicking my Sea Machine off my bass board next time I mess with that. It rules. Thanks, Wayne!

Glad you like it !!

So on the switches ... up is guitar and stock .....

Just in case
