This thing is freaking awesome. I've tried the SL2 and Bassman modules. I've got a few more to try. But, man this thing kicks. I just tracked a few overdubs in the studio with it and it was just great. I can't wait to get it home and really spend some time with.

Yep, after a long, expensive, and arduous amp journey, my Egnater M4 is IT.

Love the Mod50 in the studio... quickest "tone changes" hands down.

Tracking with BMAN and SL2. Want blackface tone, and some rectifier madness? Pop out module, pop in module. Done. :D

You know. It's just really good to have just one amp and modules.

Totally. No need to move mics, switch cabs.

Recording with the Mod50, and going from each tone SO quickly, is a good "momentum keeper" in the studio. Huge time saver.

Ain't it so nice to not have to remic another amp all the time!!!

I'm curious to see what I can do w/ the m4 / the AxeFX going forward with regards to recording :)

When I get home later in the week I will record and post some clips.

Guys! Come 'on! All the raving about these MOD50's might make me over-spend! I'm planning Renegade. But going MOD is getting more and more appealing. The campaigning is working!

Welcome- Enjoy!

Love the Tourmaster. Not modular, but with 4 channels it's kinda close to the same thing. Change channels, a little EQ maybe, and bingo! New sound!

I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Totally agree - great products. The boys design great sounding circuits for all of their amps. All of my modules sound great, and every one has a purpose, so nothing is wasted.

I just hope I don't wear out the slots changing them around. No worries. They're made of gold so they last. And in this economy, my amps value is going up even faster! That's my investment strategy. Stockpile Egnaters. Yeah - that's it. I'll have to tell the wife that.

Welcome Aboard,

Now you are going to want an EG5, an Erect, an SL, a T/D, a VX, oh hell just buy everything Egnater makes.

That's the problem with the modular amps, isn't it? It's brilliant on their parts- a guaranteed cash machine where they don't have to redesign the entire amp everytime they make a new module! But- Gotta be tough on the bankbook eventually!

Not a problem with the Tourmaster- But do get to thinking about that Mod 50 every now and again... and the two independent effects loops... and it is really a four channel amp anyway... and with the mods it's a million amps...

:D ;)     :scared: :)

I've actually been realizing I could use more modules. I could actually use 7 modules. So..

A) go with another M4?

B) look for a used Mod100?

C) go with a Mod50 and deal with only 6 modules?
