I liked the drums, even hyped like that but the exaggerated vibrato on the vocals is annoying and the metronome chug combined w/that chorus-y tone takes a raw rock song and turns it into a bad 80s parody.
The outro solo was pretty cool. Maybe I’m sensitive b/c I’ve played this song in bars hundreds of times—shameless plug lol!

As there is a thread for this then i'll put forward one of my favourite covers of the last year, can't get it out of the cd player in the car. Yes, CD player in the car...
Anyway, here it is. From a band I heard of a few years ago but didn't investigate any further until we found out they were supporting Metallica at Twickenham back in 2019. The man cannot sleep with the ideas that bounce around inside his head.
