Sucks they are not doing Cemetery Gates but I get it. Like Rev's idea though.

Only 13 songs then?

A New Level
Mouth for War
Strength Beyond Strength
Becoming
I'm Broken
Suicide Note Pt. II
5 Minutes Alone
This Love
Floods
Walk
Domination / Hollow
Cowboys From Hell
Fucking Hostile

Saw the REAL Pantera Ozzfest 2000 here in Dallas, followed by Ozzy w/Joe Holmes. Next year, Pantera, Morbid Angel and Soulfly. Followed by Pantera with Slayer the next. Some dude with a pink beard really tore it up on guitar back then!

ive not heard any of this Phil, Rex and The Boys but i saw Black Sabbath, Pantera and Deftones in 99. good times

I forgo to add, they also passed out a collection plate like in church and Phil made an announcement that it’s to fund the next Pantera album. I just wrote my PIN on my debit card and threw it in the pile.

Have to say that Zakk is killing it in Pantera from all the videos I've seen. I'd rather hear his interpretation of Dime's songs than someone else try to do a carbon copy of the recordings. Not that it wouldn't be cool to see Wes Hauch have a shot, but Zakk is such an experienced live player by comparison. He's been great at every show I've attended with Ozzy, BLS, Zakk Sabbath, etc.

I saw Damageplan in 2004 and Down in 2006 or 2007. Down was pretty dreadful, to be honest. Damageplan was a very underrated band at the time. I feel like that debut album didn't review well at the time because people just wanted Pantera back, but in hindsight Dime has some great playing on that album. When Dime died, we not only lost out on Pantera but what Damageplan could've grown into, too.

I remember reading awhile back that they intentionally kept Damageplan’s debut album radio friendly for good exposure, but after that they were gonna go Pantera level heavy.

That must've been an incredible show. Joe Holmes is criminally underrated.

Not sure who that dude is or why he’s talking about a reunion, I saw the REAL Pantera with all the original members like 3 weeks ago. Can’t have a reunion if the band never parted ways.

Any word on Damage Plan get going again?
I mean it's been 10 years and i like it a lil more than Pantera anyway
