MGL was definitely on my radar. I've been looking around to see what's out there. Alot I have already owned thru the years.
Many nicely voiced amps out there, but when you boil it down, there is nothing like the sound of a High or Low-gain Marshall.
I dig 70's tones and always will.
That said, it seems MGL just uploaded 2 new amp demos on YT. It sounds like they upped their game on recording quailty.
They uploaded the 50 watt and 100 watt.
They both kill, but as soon as I heard the 100, it's like a bunch of great Marshall tones. Plus, you can pick the Voicing of each channel when you order it.

I seen this demo of his the other day of the higher gain channel and thought the amp sounded killer, just about every 70's 80's Marshall tone in spades with more gain as well.....

I imagine this amp will fit your style of playing well Carl..........

Last year, there was a guy on here selling one. He only lived like an hour and a half away, so I hopped in my truck and drove down there. Within about 30 seconds of playing it, I was ready to slap the money down and headed home with it. It's an older 50 watt model, but it sounded sooooooooo good.

Glad you like the amps Carl and thanks for the compliments! We’re all Marshall freaks at MGL coming from playing Plexi and early metal panel amps. So there’s a lot of that DNA in the amps. The MGL100 and new MGL50 both use the same circuit that is turret board construction. Each amp has 9 real mustard caps throughout the circuit. There’s nothing like mustard caps for the authentic Marshall voice!

When I ordered one, he spent a long time over the phone to get me what I wanted.
Very smart guy when it comes to amps and vintage guitars

Your clips are the ones that got them on the radar for me at all, they sound very good

Good to hear some higher quality stuff on their youtube! MGL are one of those amps that I wish I could rent for a week or something and put it through its paces
