If they ae the V7/S1/V8, then you shouldn't have to replace them immediately. They are actually good for stock pickups.

They are... okay, I guess. Not bad by any stretch, but not what I wanted. I have 2 of these, and put a set of PAF Pros in one and a Pariah 70s Destruction/Air Norton in the other.

They're pretty good for the stock pups, but nothing compared to your fav flavor of dimarzios(I love the Zone/PAF Joe combo)........Will change em' out for my fav. Dimarzios
Old(92 RG550 original purple neon) next to new RFR Genesis. I do love the aesthetic of the black pole pieces with these series guitar though...silly, but yeah. Very impressed with the Genesis 550 in general.
