Last Demons & Wizards USA tour both him and the other guitarist (who played lead with IE live) were on Kempers. I think every time I’ve seen him play since the horror show tour he sounds the same regardless of if he is running Larry heads, Larry Preamp into DSL’s, a complex dual amp rig, or Kempers - he knows how to dial in his sound.

Good to hear, actually decided to go read what was up with him of course right after I posted this haha. Glad to hear he’s free.
 
I need to check out more of their stuff as I've liked what I heard. I had no idea that Schaffer was part of the Jan 6 crowd. Wild.

True....He's gonna have to recruit some musicians.
 
You know what album I've listened to a lot lately is Glorious Burden. I really enjoy that album and is a well thought out concept album.
 
I read on Blabbermouth that he’s got a new project going, “Jonny and the Oathbreakers”
 
I REALLY like the tones on The Glorious Burden. Gettysburg trilogy 🤌.

Still have my VIP pass and set list signed by the guys from one of the Barlow shows.

Been a fan forever, hope to hear whatever comes next.

To be honest, I am surprised it haven’t been done already. Of I count out Fortin, as they aren’t a direct clone sadly.

I’m not really into iced earth but the dude definitely rips with some sick tones. I have an icebucker in my LP
