Guitar played very well. Stock strings are always too small and slinky for me and up in standard tuning... but it felt great and I picked it off the wall because of the color.
Played a few twice that price and didn't feel as good right off the bat. Neck felt good. Finish was super. Great for the money I'd say.
I don't like strat style bodies for when I play standing up, but for sitting down this guitar was very nice. Schecter makes nice instruments with a range of prices IMO
I also cant quite imagine being such a snob you turn your nose up at a lower price tag before trying it though. That's some weezer type shit if I ever saw any ?
"Uhhh yeah let me get the $2,300 used PRS so I can feel more more cool while testing this amp" and then you'd play some ole shitty ACDC riffs to prove how legit you were.... eh? ?

When he was in the 82nd Airborne "Screamin Eagles" and deployed to Germany he looked like Hard Times Bronson.
When he ran his own tube TV & Radio repair business later on he looked like early Death Wish Bronson.
