(www.galleryofguns.com) - what ammo?
Low-recoil will be an asset, I've been reading #1 buckshot is the best overall, with 00 being another highly ranked option, though#1 isn't available w/ low recoil.
What about target / skeet-skeet rounds?

You can try the Speer Lawmans, PMC, Remingtons, etc...all in low recoil form. Get a 5 round box of each and see which you like the best. Once you've found your fave, buy about 25+ rounds to keep handy around the house. For target practice, go to WalMart and pick up some birdshot with roughly the same FPS so the recoil feels the same. We take paper plates with us to the range, mount them on the board, and use those as targets. No sense wasting a silhouette target since about 10 rounds will shred it in half. As far as skeet....forget about it with an 18.5 in barrel....the shot spreads out too quickly at long distances for it to be effective.
