It's kind of funny that we all see our amps as these badass muscle cars, but all our wives see is a smoking money pit we're always spending too much time and anger on....

When I got my '92 Camaro in '92 I could not afford the IROC-Z so I got the 92 25th Anniversary RS 5 speed manual V6. Man that thing could get up and go. Faster off the line than my '84 Z28 I bought used.my Friedman modded Jet City 20H = little brother to the iconic 80's hot rodded Marshall tone
my 1992 Z28 - little brother to the iconic 80's hot rod - IROC-Z
Nice! My first car was an 84 Z28 back in 1999. Was an absolute turd. Had the L69 motor so it was fairly snappy, but previous owners smoked it. Spun a bearing 2 months into owning it, tranny failed 4 months after that, and 12 months and one week after the tranny fix, it blew again (one week out of warranty - they would not honor even though mileage was under). I punched and kicked every fender on that car and later sold it for $300. 7 years ago got the Camaro I've always wanted - 92 Z28 red w/black 25th Anniversary stripes and t-tops. Doesn't have the manual trans, but everything else is perfect. Hey check it out, we have the same wheels! I much prefer these 96-99 SS wheels over my factory ones. I also put 96-97 SS exhaust on mine, and 4th gen Camaro steering wheel and seats in it. Slowly turning it into a 3rd/4th gen hybrid of sortsWhen I got my '92 Camaro in '92 I could not afford the IROC-Z so I got the 92 25th Anniversary RS 5 speed manual V6. Looked just like this one:

I would have said this about my C+/++ Coliseum but you said it for me Dave, thxMy Cameron CCV is more like an Abrams M1A2 tank. It’s heavy, crushes every other amp I’ve owned. It just runs over everything.
My dad's friend spent near the tune of $300k to resto-mod his 68 Firebird vert a few years back. Modified C6 chassis, Ford style 9" IRS, 10" wide wheels, Lingenfelter Stage 3 LSA, EVERYTHING.Yeah Brother! Smokin HOT!
My next Camaro will be a 68-69 small block but I'm pretty set on going Pro Mod with up to date brakes, suspension, intake, a/c, stereo, interior, etc. Sadly, I need a new Suburban first so practicality over fun I suppose. Partially why I have to keep my amp GAS at bay so outside of maybe a new Guitar - I think I'm set gear wise.
I see where you're going with it, but I feel like a 5153 50w is more of the Toyota Camry of the metal world.
Which is really no different than owning a muscle car. It's kind of funny that we all see our amps as these badass muscle cars, but all our wives see is a smoking money pit we're always spending too much time and anger on....
