My wife never pays much attention to gear out in the man cave when she come out there. When she got back last night, she could hear me playing when pulling into the driveway. She popped into the cave and saw Big Blue and recognizes the Diezel logo and says, oh, that's a pretty blue one...is it from that nice man in Germany you tried to call while we were there? I just placed my order with Brad for a Blueface VH4!
Right now all I have is a Bogner 4x12 vintage 30 cab 16 ohm I use with my 101b
Think I may either get a Bogner front load or a Diezel front load

Using my Bogner FL right now with V30/T75's. Got another Bogner FL coming that they put V30/K100's in for me. Got to dig my Diezel FL out and will put all V30's in it. I always used that with the old Vh4 and Herbie.

How would you describe the voicing of this revision of the VH4 (with the EL34BHTs) to your last VH4?

This one sounds as good as the last one. I usually look for reasons to change the tubes out, but can't find any reason to change the Ruby's, I will leave them for now. Running channel 3 with the gain about noon, they hold together well. I did check them out and see they have a really high rating of 56m which is a later distortion, rather than earlier and will produce more head room. I am such a fan of SED's and know how they react and only have to buy one type of tube. But, I don't see any reasons to change these.
