Well yeah like I said this place is that shitshow you just can't stop watching... the best of teh best of teh low-brow!

What really makes me sad about TGP is "some people" there actually think they are better and smarter than people who have "different" views or opinions. "They" want people to be inclusive but you see how "those people" treat anyone that doesn't fall in line.., and I'm talking "some members" not "TOP MEN"

I have some freinds there but I don't miss having the Farce Thread and having to deal with some of the biggest fucking asshats on the internet every day... there were some cool people in there but dayum at "those girsl" that ruin everything for the rest of us

I enjoy the shit show. It's not as big of a shit show as the encyclopedia dramatica forums but it's simply awesome. The ED forum is a true huge bowl of idiocy in the best ways.
Yeah some of the people on TGP are just unbelievable in how they act. Oh and it seems like everyone there makes $20,000 a month or more. There a few unnamed members there they I truly truly hated.
 
I had one two week ban when I first signed up. I was really surprised that The Great Divide had crept into a gear forum. I didn’t think it would be so Twitter-esque but I guess it permeates everywhere. Linked-In surprised me for getting like that too. Someone felt great reporting my posts for not towing the line. I had to reel it back in and self-censor a bit more seeing the majority of the Mean Girls Club leaned in the opposite direction my views. Nothing I havent had to do before. Astronomy forums censor quite a bit on off-topic stuff too. Nowadays I just move slowly on topics until I know what gets me banned and get a feel if mods treat members equally for bans. Linked-In I only hit like on space photos. About as innocuous as you can get…

I signed up for Twitter in 2012 and my first post was in 2023 and was promptly banned 2 months later with less than 100 posts. Good times. Still banned.

I don't know them personally so they might be okay in real life but yeah I can't stand a few of the online personalities. Don't try to control everything, just move on by if you don't get it or like what is said.
