Impellitteri throught ENGL amp Video

Didn't like the tone much. Did like the playing though.

Anyone else notice how efficient his fretting hand is, and how inefficient his picking hand is?
 
Ya know, if I close my eyes and just listen, I can't get many intelligible notes out of that.
 
could someone give me the number to his hairdresser ??
 
I'm an Impelliteri fan but, I don't think I've heard a recording where his lead tone sounds great (and I have almost all his CD's). His rhythm tones on pretty good on the newer CD's though.

I think it is hysterical that there was never a point in time whether it be the 80's or now where that guy has had a good haircut!! It's almost like he goes out of his way to find someone to give him the worst haircut possible.


Without getting nasty... Impelliteri was never a fave of mine ;)
 
If that was an amp demo, they should`ve used a decent mic, if it was t oshow off what he played, they still should`ve used a decent mic :D
I couldn`t hear anything there. And I like fast playing :)

The tone is to bright even for me :D but I love fast playing like that... in doses.
