Hm I’m not sure. They were doing orders on iPads there. Some of the clerks spoke English so I think if you shot an email or call you might get a responseIs there a way to do it on their website?

Man! Insane timing, I just got back from the pilgrimage. So, I went to Ochanomizu. An unreal amount of high quality stores. A lot of the stores are multi level and they carry Fender, Gibson, etc and they have a high end floor. Mostly guitars. Not as many amps but a ton of guitars. I just loaded an imgur album of some of the pics so people can see some of what it is like. Most surprising takeaways:
View attachment 347276
- There are so many fucking Suhr guitars here your mind would melt. More than I have ever seen in the United States. Every shop has Suhrs. Rare stuff too--I saw a drip modern just hanging on the wall. Tylers and Andersons as well. Gibsons are everywhere. It is not uncommon for each store to have 30+ gibson guitars. Greco and the like are also abundant but the high end stuff was here.
- I supposedly saw a 1959 Les paul in a humidified case. If true that is insane. I'll load a pic of it later.
- I saw a 1963 335 in a case as well.
- I saw a VHT CLX with a matching cab...for 1300 dollars total. If I saw that in the US I would cartwheel to the buyer.
- PRS also was everywhere. First shop I went into was Big Boss. I then went to every shop I could find. Ultimately GAS won and big boss took me for some loot. New PRS Wood Library: below. Shipped it back to myself.
Oh, that must be cool! I’d go there to try some foodMy wife is Japanese. We go there to visit her Mom and brothers.
Why pay for something available for free?Japanese Sex workers are the best. I’d say partake in that first . I probably would just do that nightly while I was there . Afyer looking at gear

Nah, American. I came for a summer research program out in western Japan, and loved everything about it. After living in the US, Australia, UK, it was exciting to be in a place that actually felt like a different way of life, so I made it a point to relocate out here when the right job popped up. These days I live in Tokyo, which is frankly just another city.
When i am there, People are very polite and friendly. i never hear anyone swear or spit on ground. They sell beer in cans in vending machines on the street and you can walk around drinking a beer while visiting all the tourist attractions. You don't see any cans lying on the ground anywhere! When you buy a pack of gum, it comes with a little pack of note paper so you can put your used gum in it and put in your pocket until you find a garbage can. They respect their environment and each other. A very different world than north america.
Yeah I heard a lot about cons you metioned. And that is not mention absolutely sick perversions being normalised like loli and overal unhealthy obsession over women and weird fetishes.Well I mean, it's a totally different viewpoint visiting vs living. I would say yea, the cleanliness and safety are hard to argue with and huge perks for me. I can go out jogging at midnight with headphones on and zero situational awareness and the worst thing that will happen is that I'll accidentally scare someone I come upon.
But there's a lot of negatives that you see when you live here a while (in Tokyo). People are generally cold and indifferent. If someone falls crossing the street, rarely will anyone help. My fear of being mugged has been replaced by the fear of having a heart attack and convulsing on the ground while no one helps or a few look on confused as to what to do while I waste away. There is rampant racism, which unlike the general vibe in north america, is completely overt. You want to live here? Sorry, no foreigners. And show up every weekend to the embassies of other asian countries to see convoys of people shouting ~"Koreans go home" out of loudspeakers, with police officers escorting them. Throw any notion of local community out the door. Neighbors typically work to avoid contact with each other. No "hey, we're having a BBQ - come on over!" In the work setting everything is far worse. Many people are worked to exhaustion. A contract might specify a typical 50 hour a week job, but require 30 hours of unpaid overtime "built-in". This quite typical. But the quality of the work doesn't matter as much as the appearance of the work, so you should just basically sit at your desk and dick around until your boss leaves. It's moving the whole economy into oblivion.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy living here, and really, really enjoy kansai area (which I hope to move to at some point), so there's more pros than cons in my mind. But there's a hell of a lot of cons and romanticism of Japan in the west. For most of my friends that I met here or moved here, they're not here anymore.
But it is clean
Either US girls became lazy or I am meeting a lot of nymphomaniacsThey are better at what they do than the free stuff
