I have a Sig-X on order. I was hoping it would be a channel switching Deliverance with a loop. Sounds like it may not be.

The feel of the Deliverance is flat out awesome. And it records better than most amps I've heard.

Nice tone.I played a Deliverance last week and liked it but a bit 'stiff' compared to the Vintage Modern I played next to it. This clip's tone sounds a bit more elastic than the tone I was getting on D. The Sig X is supposed to be more 'forgiving' than the D.......so I have a Sig X on order through Guitar Center... VHT just told them on Wednesday it will be out within the next 2 months and the first batch of 200 are all sold, so I won't be getting one until September-October. :gethim:
Actually the first batch is only 100 pieces. I could probably get you one from the first batch if you don't want to wait.

Sounds great Phil, that sucker cuts like a knife!

Yup, I really love that amp, it cuts well and has plenty of bass, the EQ is usable so i can easily tweak from one guitar to the next.

I agree on both count, the feel of the amp is simply amazing and the recording process is simply slap a mic in front of the cab.

I read a lot about the Sig-X and I'm intrigued by it. I bet it's going to sound great though :)

From all I have gathered it will be the Deliverance and more. Guys who have heard it say it's a cross between a CL and Deliverance..... same preamp and power section but with uber tweaking features like the tube rectifier for more sag and even more gain than the D.
I might pick up a Budda Superdrive this week instead of waiting for my Sig X order but I will definitely be getting one by the end of the year.

Thanks, george. PM sent.

Nice clip -- sounds great.

I got to finally play through a Deliverance yesterday, both the 60 and the 120 , at GC of all places. Used a LP Studio into a VHT 4x12. Man, seriously some of the best hard rock distortion I've ever had the pleasure to experience. Really fat, not as bright as I was expecting, tight but can be dialed in to feel looser. The 120 is a fucking beast -- loud as hell, but I think I liked the 60 better. Seemed sweeter to me. I didn't get a chance to dial it in for any clean or inbetween stuff. Has me thinking I might sell my TopHat Emplexador and get a Deliverance 60 -- but I'm not sure yet. The Emplexador is definitely more vintage in it's overall tone and vibe -- the Deliverance has a bit of that but is more modern sounding to me. Anyway, incredible sounding amp.

Yup ,pretty much the same experience as me. I tried a 120 into a VHT 4X12 at GC. Killer amp. Can't wait to get my cab.

I think this tune is the new "unchained" :D

Phil, that is just stellar tone right there! A thing of beauty for the ears...

Sounds great Phil! I played my (new) Suhr S1 through the Deliverance today and it sounded amazing!

I had a D120 and it was one of the best sounding amps I've ever owned. I've thought about getting a D60 several times, but for some reason, I can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

I'm not using any effects in a loop with my current band, but I do put an EQ pedal in there for solo boosts (volume.) Dangit, I can't do that with the D60! URGH...

Just stick a pedal in front of it.

Very nice. I don't think I've heard a bad clip from a Deliverance yet. I'd like to try one...

The tone really floored me. I don't use a loop that much on amps anyway so it was not a big issue for me. I know you like loops so yeah I can see why you wouldn't necessarily want one.
If I start playing with a band again (which I hope soon), I'll probably bring both the D60 and the Mark III and use an amp switching thing to go from dry to wet.

At least it's a plan to justify having it :)
