Must be new.i haven't seen that one anywhere yet.Ive bought and sold the sentry 3 times.Thought it was great for noise removal then would try a better gate,liked that,then back to sentry. I dnt know anything about the iron curtain one tho.

Every damn TC pedal I've owned has eventually had some sort of physical issue with it. Unreliable junk, IMO... I would definitely be wary of their 50 buck cheapo offerings. Somehow I've had better luck with EHX pedals, and them shits you look at wrong and they stop working.

Sweetwater finally received more stock of the Sentry and mine landed yesterday. Currently moving so have not even opened it up yet. Have not tried the Iron Curtain though. I went with the Sentry based on a several reviews but mainly because of Fluff and Ben Eller's noise gate shootout.

I had one and sold it. It was good, but decay (gate closing time) was slow for my use.

Yep, I agree. The gate closes way too slow.

I mean, for the money, it's OK. But the Sentry stomps all over that.

ISP Decimator II. That's my go-to. Haven't found anything better.
