I reckon I keep tightening until it hinders the draw and then back it off a touch. I’ve got to say it’s a lot more comfortable than just the kydex by itself on the belt. Wrangler Flex Waist. They're like $25 at Walmart. Total game changer. They have jeans and cargo pants. Just buy your regular size.

They're infused with Spandex. I pretty much exclusively wear the cargos for the last several years. Or 5.11s.
I don't do belly bands, but these have serious flex. You should try some on and you'll be able to tell if you need to go up a size. I can't imagine needing to, but if you do I doubt it's more than 1 size. I don't size up and I carry either Muddy River Tactical kydex IWB or Crossbreed minitucks.

Now it might be the particular kydex that came with the C&C, but is it common that they’re so uncomfortable with the contact on the bottom? Or is it a matter of stepping up your underwear game? This is trying it just on a belt without the belly band.

They can take a little getting used to appendix carrying. They make little pads you can put on them, but I didn't like them. It is more uncomfortable to carry a thicker gun like a VP9 then say a thinner gun like a P365XL or IWI Masada S. When I strong side carry I use a mini tuck. I almost never strong side carry anymore. AIWB is the way.

Looks like a nice sturdy boxer is in my future 😂 Those Kore belts look interesting. I think I’ll try one out as an option against the belly band.
