My neighbors are actually pretty cool I think. We have two couples in their 30's with kids (as we are) living on either side.

We could certainly make some noise:

I'll drive and buy the beer John  ;)

Ha, sounds good!
if your serious I'd definately be up for it

any beer preference??

Lets do it..since 'amp fest" in Akron fizzled out.
We still need to do that Lord.

I could host a mini-amp/beer fest at my place. I have a fairly large basement where we can plug in (with wet bar  ) with easy access for bringing stuff in...straight shot down one flight of stairs.

My only gig this month is the 26th, so my schedule on the weekends is pretty open.

Let me know...I'm on the west side, Rocky River, just a few minutes off of I90 pretty close to Rocky River High School.

This could be cool...esp. since the Akron one didn't happen. 20 guys would be a bit much I think, but a handful from the area would likely work out!

Yes...the building is still vacant. I was thinking of doing it in late May. A trip to Tim's could hold us over though

I loved the M60 I played on. I spent a total of a few hours with it, and I really want an M90...but the price

I have wanted to play one bad, but I did see soilwork use them last week and wasn't too impressed how they sounded....

All the clips I've heard always led me to believe that if there was a genre of music the M60/90 isn't suited for that would be it; There is a common quality I hear in the clips that just doesn't seem like it would be pleasing to do that stuff. Some of the best lead clips I've heard were on an M90 though.

I hear ya

if only elmwood could squeeze those lead tones in to a pedal ala
soldano GTO (but in a good way !!)
its coming!!! The pedal that is.... Give it time!

We'll figure it out. I emailed you back.

The Elmwoods are kickass amps...I've owned M60,M90 (still own) 3100....all stellar amps!!!!

Had an M90. Nice amp but nowhere near worth what you pay. 3600 new. Should be 2000. The high gain was great but the cleans and boosted cleans were average. Everyone who heard it thought my Diezel Einstein had better cleans. I did too. I think I would like the M60 more but go for a used one if you can find them. New price is just ridiculous and I'm sorry to say I bought into the internet hype.

They're great amps that have a unique voicing, are very flexible and pack a lot of tone and features in a small package. Yeah, they're expensive but worth it IMHO. The dollar doing so poorly probably has something to do with the price.

Hey... Care to give a description of the differences? ;)

I like the more Marshall-esque EQ of the M60, but the heavier punch of the M90. Why is choosing amps so damn hard... :aww:

And I agree, buying European amps in the US must hurt like hell at the moment... Not that I feel too sorry for you guys, try buying a Mesa or something like that over here.

I've had the M60, M90, and 3100. They definately have their own sound going on, and a little goes on a long way on the EQ's of the Elmwoods. You can completely change the tone and feel of the amp with just the mid control. Very cool amps.

I only had an M90, but I completely agree about th eEQ.

FWIW, I also really think it is a love it or hate it amp when you play through it. I loved it.
