........and the poisons in the food you ate made you ignorant and anxiety ridden.

I hope this guy turns the FDA upside down. These food companies need to be prosecuted for crimes against humanity and the executive slime that control these companies Executed.

Instead of attacking the person who posted the information, how about disproving it fact based evidence?

I wasn't attacking Geo, the "you" was a placeholder for society/people that don't take responsibility for having no control over what they put in their mouths.

Okay, fair enough. Still, it is difficult when there is so much junk food (with harmful chemicals) so readily available. Good food has a lot higher cost.

Real example: down the road from my office there is a Chinese food place that offers lunch specials for $9.45. They give you a ton of fresh cooked food...which is high in sodium and probably a bunch of other stuff since it tastes great. The alternative is to spend $16 on a salad with fresh chicken, or a sub shop that charges $14 for a roasted turkey sandwich which still leaves you hungry unless you get the large for $18.

Salt is good for you it turns out. Don't ever believe the US health establishment.

I always get General Tso's chicken (they only use white meat for it). Comes with pork fried rice and soup all for $9.45. It's insane how much food they give you. Still, it isn't healthy eating fried food with tons of sodium, MSG, etc.

I haven't eaten food from a restaurant in over 3 years. It's not much cheaper, takes tons of time but I have never felt better.

Yeah, there is a Chinese buffet here that is like $10 all you can eat. It's a guilty pleasure, I go once every couple months and eat like a deranged king. I tend to stick with the beef and chicken dishes. It is almost always an instant regret an hour later but..it is what it is.

I cook at home for 95% of my dishes, mainly because I am a great cook and hate most peoples food. (Humble brag)

Is cheaper though?
I guess, sometimes it really doesn't seem like it but I only buy the best quality foods. I buy all my meats and vegetables from a local farm. I only buy overflow item from grocery stores. Very few things from cans or boxes.
