If that's the new going price then I will be keeping mine I guess... LOL I have bought from that shop before so it's not like some desperate seller so its way under value.

Daves has great prices on used gear. A lot of their used gear sells within minutes of being up on their site. I check it multiple times throughout the day.

Good too know, although it just killed my Mark 7 resale value didn't it :ROFLMAO:

I know it’s a tough pill to swallow right now for a lot of us, but shit just isn’t selling for what it was 6 months ago. USA guitars that were selling for 4000 used a year and some change ago are hitting the high 2s now. Amp heads unless they’re super rare aren’t going for remotely close to what they were. People are getting strapped. Can hang on to listings for months and you MIGHT get close to what you paid, but that’s just a maybe. In the meantime someone who needs to move the same thing will post it at a way lower price, sell theirs, and you’re waiting longer…. That is if it even moves because now the general market is lower based on the most recent sales.

Listed as "very good condition" which could account for the price?

Looks legit. I bought mine last month new and my price was just a little above that. I just “watched” one on Reverb and the shop sent me an offer that I couldn’t refuse. There are deals to be had if you’re in the market.

Low yes, not really giving it away. More like pricing very reasonably. When they were new I finagled one for $2,800. It is what it is.

Reverb price history seems to be in the $2600s and less sales month-over-month, so yeah that might be a legit price in January.

I'm actually extremely tempted at that price...not sure what's going on with that transformer in the rear picture.

EDIT: Looks like they have a site for their store and have it listed there (with higher shipping lol). Might be worth a punt to email them looking to cut a deal, after Reverb takes their fees they're only getting $2295 anyway so they should be willing to take $2400 including shipping (unlucky they still charge tax on their site, thats always a huge find when I order online).

I am amazed that some of you were able to get such a great price for a new one. Most dealers give you that same old song and dance about not being allowed to discount Mesa stuff as I hear it all the time. What dealers are selling these so low? Kindly send me a private message so not to get any dealers in hot water with Mesa if you can pass that info along? Thanks!

If there are dealers selling these new for prices that low than I am surprised and must have missed the boat when I bought mine last year for full price .

If you call or email Dave’s, they’ll usually give you a better deal (cut out the Reverb fees) and no tax. It’s a good shop.

Somebody snag that. If I didn't empty my funds on the Uber Rev Green and Krankenstein in one week, I'd jump on that.

I saw one sell for $1800. As you can imagine it sold very fast.

It's honestly not that popular of an amp as well plus the condition.

Looks pretty new to me… I saw a JP-2C for $2,500 on Reverb.
