That's awesome - I seriously thought about one of those for a 2x12. You run yours in a closet - if you didn't play cranked would it still be as quiet without being in a closet?

My amp only got the tone I wanted cranked and it is 120 watts, so I need the closet. If you play at a lower volume you would not need to run it in a closet like I do...

I am thinking of doing a similar setup, when you have it in the closet are you able to hear what you are playing? Also are those 2x12 or 4x12 cabs? I am not really sure how the recording process works so excuse my ignorance.

What I am planning to do is try to dampen the sound of the closet as much as possible so I can crank the amp inside of it, then in the other room be able to monitor that sound without having to hear the amp from the closet other than through monitors, how accurate would the reproduction of the sound be? Is this how its supposed to be done? Someone please correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

Also will their be latency issues when doing this kind of setup?

Are there any helpful sites for home recording setups?
