Dude's awesome. Politely schools everyone on how to actually play the song.

those riffs are killer. one of my fav ozzy songs.

Randy was my favorite for a loooong time back then. But Jake became my favorite a couple years after Bark hit. Started studying his style and damn, he is a true legend.

Rock and roll rebel, damn opening riff is awesome. The whole album is killer.

That is the correct way but in my opinion it sounds very odd.

???

I totally dig it and that is what I hear on my computer and vinyl.

Hell of a riff IMO. Jake is helluva dude, everything I see and hear from him. Humble dude compared to most of the people at his status.

Jake is probably one of if not the nicest people I've ever met. I was lucky enough to be in one of the recent RDC videos and the coolest part was just sitting watching Jake play his part off to the side while he was waiting. An amazing player, and even more amazing person. Great, very humble guy

Its his song for sure but I have never seen anyone play it like that including myself/ Im talkn club days back in the 80`s. Zakk doesn't even play it like that LOL. I get the dissonant chords thing but some of it just sounds out of tune

Back in 1983, I went to "Solid Gold", a TV show where Ozzy was filming a video for the show. It required two separate tapings an hour or more apart, maybe a two hour wait between takes. They played "Bark at the moon" and he other hit from that album, a slow, forgettable song about waiting or not waiting. In between takes, Jake came out and talked to me and my other 3 friends from G.I.T. who had come to see Ozzy. Asked him to show me how to play Bark at the moon and he did. I already played the song but he helped me out with the lead at the end where I was having trouble, great guy.

Big big hair, full-on rockstar that day, Jake was.

"Waiting for Darkness" is a very cool tune. The song Markedman is referring to is "So Tired"

When I listen to the BATM album these days, I still dig it, but I feel like that record could have definitely used a better production and a mix where the guitars were more in your face.

I really like that album on vinyl. I think it sounds a lot better than the streams. I don't mean to be 'that' guy but it's different. Jake seems like such a cool guy I will see him next time comes my direction.
