Jerry rocks. His rig is meant to rock. Jerry rocks his rig.

The amps have a custom vox style clean. They also have the effects loop return volume on the front next to the standby . One amp is standard brown eye with the voicing in VH mode. The gain is about on 8. The other amp is the BE channel with saturation on and vh off and a slight resonance shift done for him. The rig as Mark says is to ease shipping. It's very costly to air freight to Europe. Oh the gain on the 2nd amp is on about 8 also.

I'm surprised he's using the Palmer sims on those, I tried every sim box and I felt while the Palmer sounded good in its own right it didn't sound like my amp coming out of the speakers, my old red box II had the best retention of my Bogners lower mids with the Radial box second, very good but lost a bit of that low mid thing that I feel is really representative of that amp. The Palmer EQ just didn't work for me. I listened to the few songs on the Download fest tv program and honestly thought his tone lacked low mid push and had a bit too much high end (slightly fizzy) compared to his tones I hear on other gigs and recordings from him. That said that is an awesome rig and I'm sure sounds really killer. And beautifully done as always from Rack Systems.

Ah so he prefers the BE side. I also like the SAT mod a lot. Thanks muchos for the info Dave!

He also uses mics on the cabs. Not just the palmers. There is a new sound guy this tour so that could be part of it also. The other guy they couldn't get this tour.

Awesome looking rig, though Im sure Jerry would kill through whatever he used.

Wow! That's mind blowing! But, then Jerry is a mind blowing artist. Love the grind he gets in his tone.

Wow. You guys do amazing work. Even the wire routing alone is a work of art.

Thanks for sharing!

Why would he need two EQ's? Does he use them differently or just like the diff tone between the MXR (more precise) and the old faithful GE-7? Are they used primarily for solo boost? Looks like they both are set somewhat to cut mids ever so slightly or is it just a flat boost?

Actually the boss he is not using right now. Use to use it for more of a am radio kind of effect in a song. The 10 band he was going to use for more of a metal sound but now uses it for his tele guitars to boost a bit of lows. The lead boost is the tube screamer but just a bit.
