No idea I think he has played live with some wierd supergroup side project with revolving members, I think the lead singer from Mr big put together.

I have a fairly extensive write up in young guitar about his rig (with ozzy) if anyone wants to know what it is.

Sounds like old Marshall 100 watters boosted thru greenback cabs.

Jose Arrendondo modded '72 Super Leads gave Joe one of the best live guitar sounds I've ever heard.

Agreed!

That's why I asked where he got to...
AWESOME tone!

i use to see joe perform back in the day and he was pretty fuckin bad ass and had amazing metal raw tone...he's very underrated in the scene. ( he did heavy version of Creams White Room that fuckin floored me)..as matter of fact, when i saw him at the roxy in l.a. i thought he was the perfect fit for ozzy gig, late 80 's. ...but i don't know anything about his song writing capabilities.

where is he now?

Yeah, I don't know if Ill be able to scan them. :aww:

I saw a bootleg video with him on the ozzy tour. His aggressive style and stage presence was very impressive. I think this was around the time Zakk was doing his pride and glory stuff. Didn't he have a big drug problem though? I thought he looked like he weighed 80 lbs or something.

His and John Sykes vibrato just blow the mind!
Awesome!!

Yup - he sounded unreal on that Ozzy tour playing those amps. Easily one of the best live guitar sounds I've ever heard. I hope to reproduce it soon...

One of the other secrets is a pcm41 I think mostly used as a boost in a special effects insert jose put in alot of the marshalls, i believe it is in the schematic floating around online.

With?

A modded Ceriatone Plexi100 kit (based on one of Jose's circuits w/Jose Master) with some parts swapped out, tube buffered efx loop, adjustable line out, Mercury Magnetics PT, OT and choke...
