It's basically a IIC+ preamp with John's graphic EQ setting already programmed into the circuitry. The reason that Mesa doesn't offer it to the public is that it is very expensive and labor intensive to build. (This was discussed in an interview with John last year.)

A Studio Pre with some circuit tweeks would get you close.
 
I have seen a picture of that before and wondered what it was. The two gains,master, Treble, mid,bass, pres- that would leave a extra knob on both channels. Maybe one of them tone knobs that take out the mids-like the V on the EQ[contour?]. Any other ideas, I'm making this up. :confused:

I'm very curious about that, where was the interview from? I was under the impression that Snyder made it.

I'm very curious about that, where was the interview from? I was under the impression that Snyder made it.
