Pretty cool here. I enjoy Michael Nielsen (nicest guy ever) and he was John's recording engineer a number of years. Good insight for those of us not in the know on that rig.

Probably 10-12 years ago, 2 of John's rack rigs went for sale on eBay England...around 20k for both. They included (each) a C+, and a racktifier, plus assorted PCM 41/42s, Roland 3000s and other goodies. They did sell....not to me unfortunately.

Huh? I don't think this is accurate. John had a few guitars in England--but no amps or racks.

This was on eBay England, 10 or more years ago. Two ginormous racks with C+, and Racto s with assorted PCMs/Lexicon stuff. All pro gear. 20k for all of it, and the seller said John used to own it. It sold; maybe he was full of it? But legit gear nonetheless

It wasn't John's stuff. All John's gear apart from an old Strat and another guitar or two were either at his house in LA or in his storage locker. John had two Dual Racto's--one he traded to SBlue a year ago and the other is still in that rack pictured in that Load Out pic in a guitar magazine decades ago.

A great watch. Michael got really close to JS's tone. I have a Triple Rectifier on the way and can't wait to try and get some of these sounds with it
