If this was the same guy who went by JohnnyJellyBean on the Metroamp forum, he was indeed a good guy! He built some great sounding amps!

I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.:(

Met him years several ago at the Wizard Booth at Namm and he was such a cool dude to chat with and when he fired up one of the Wizards inside the enclosed booth it was unbelievable the tone he got and his playing was top notch. I still remember the look on his face when he fired it up as it was just like a kid in a candy store. He was everything that Rock and Roll is all about!

Not sure how I missed this either.... super nice guy, we bought and sold a few amps between us. Weirder I was just talking about him last week as we’re covering Roller now and I mentioned that connection to the guys... lame, sorry to hear this

This is how I met Steve several years in a row….but at the NY Amp show. Had I known Steve was such an accomplished musician, I don’t think I’d have the guts to play in front of him. 🤣
