So on a whim I ordered this last week. Got to mess with it a little today and I'm totally digging it. I'm running it into my Peavey Classic series 60 watt tube amp into two 4x12's. I set the UK900 setting to sound pretty damn close to my VTM60. All the amp models sound killer so far. I'm gonna A/B my 6505+ with the 5153 model tomorrow. I set the gain on this clip fairly low so I can boost it with my Bion Boost. It also has an effects loop right on the preamp. Cool $135.


 
haha I just got through watching your vid in my subscription feed. The first thing I thought was that it sounded close to the VTM. Im broke as hell and you have to post this....

Looking forward to hearing the other models. Maybe I might grab one of these other than another Ceres.
 
I did not need one of these whatsoever. Ordered one anyway. Sounds pretty damn good.

Yeah man, it’s definitely cool. Sounds so much better than those tiny Mooer preamp pedals that came out a few years back. I also bought the Flamma FS06 preamp pedal at the same time. It has a few less features but the Plex50 sounds pretty killer. it was only $69. I decided to keep the Joyo though. It also has a port for firmware updates.
I set the UK900 to be a little thick and woofy like I set my VTM. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lag when switching channels that some digital preamps (and some tube amps) have. Minor issue though since I’m just playing with myself in my room. haha!
