My Bolt kit. I love this guitar. Not sure why some people don't like Carvin pups? I love the C22B bridge and the AP11 SC are great.

I really dig the finish you did.

How long did it take you to put your kit together?
What kind of finish did you put on it?
What's the writing on your headstock say?

Thanks!

It took me around 1 month. I took my time with it.

The finish was a fluke. I ordered some Navy Blue wood die. I wanted it dark navy. The wood would not soak up the die and turn blue? I was really pissed off until I added the clear coat. I love the color it turned out.

Not sure what the Chinese writing is? I found it in a hobby store. I would bet it says " Pepi you have been a bad bad boy"

That one looks cool Pepi. I dig the writing on the headstock.

Knowing your taste in music, you'll probably swap the pups. The guitar should play great. I love my Carvin!

That's what I was thinking. Oh well, a Duncan Custom should sound pretty sweet in the bridge if I don't like the stock one.

I find the Carvin C22B (the newer HB) to be real close to my JB SD. The C22B is a pretty hot pup IMO

Really? Well if it's kinda similar to the JB, I might like it then. I'm a big JB fan.

Even though Im more the traditionalist those guitars look very solid to me. And I actually knew a guy that preferred those Carvin pickups.

Do they make those bolt on kits in string-thru? I dont even know if a pickgaurd/string-thru combination will look good but oh well.
