I will most certainly keep you guys informed on what's going on with the amp.
Thanks to everyone for the help and advise.

Herr Diezel can tell you real quick how old the amp is, if his memory hasn't started going yet

I have tried calling 3 times to no avail, I have sent messages here and only just yesterday received word that the amp had even arrived but the box had not even been opened yet even though it has been there since last Wednesday. I still have no answer as to how long I will be without my amp. I am starting to feel like this trade was simply not worth it.
Everyone here has been very friendly, and I am grateful for the advice and help I have received, but I cannot deal with a company that refuses to answer my questions and return my phone calls. As soon as the amp is back in my hands it will be for sale and I will be looking into something that I can rely on to be there when I need it. My band is in the studio and I have no way to put down my tracks, and I have no estimate to give them as to when I might be able to get started. I am sure Diezel amps are wonderful, but after fighting with ENGL for so long, and now being kept on the back burner by Diezel, I am thinking boutique amps are just not going to work for me.
Please don't take this as disrespect, it's just a matter of business, and in the future I cannot have the business of my band on hold for weeks while my amp is in limbo.

I don't know the particulars of your circumstance, but I do know that they are extremely busy and yet still manage to provide top-notch service to pretty much any and everyone I've ever heard of or read about (including myself). Moreover, without knowing what the issue is with your amp it's impossible to say whether a previous owner may have done something to it resulting in your having to send it in. Of course, I'm sure you know all this already. I also know how important it is to make progress with your band be it for recording, gigging, etc... so I can sympathize with your plight. At any rate, hope things get better for you soon and that you give the amp a chance once corrections have been made. I realize it's a tough time right now but this is a gem of an amplifier that I'm certain you'll love.
Whatever happens, I wish you the best.
