it looks like it re-directs the highs in all directions rather than eliminating them. I dont know how well they work or sound but i'll be sure and let you know. Since i HATE bright tone, i will hopefully like the new configuration. I like a REALLY REALLY dark sound

You definitely have the tone ive been going for forever. The tone in the video that you did a solo in is spot on. Eric Johnson/Vai. That has always been the sound i was looking for. Kind of a high gain eric j. tone that was darker.
You seem to have that going for you already though...

i bet its because of the 2 cab situation, it really does help for live applications!
