Just received my CCV.........for real.

Glad you're enjoying the amp. Have you ever played any of Mark's modded amps? I'm wondering how the CCV compares.

I've owned a Splawn QR (great amp). Can you compare the two?

IMHO the QR gears sounds more sterile to me than the CCV. They both have more than enough gain but the CCV has a better spongier feel to me, great harmonics, and a sound when I do vibrato and pinch harmonics that I just can't get enough of. There is no comparison on the clean channel side of things as that was not the Splawn's strength where as the CCV has the best clean on a high gainer that I've heard. Anyway, hope that helps some.........tone is so subjective.
