Nice clip!

I liked booth.

I've had a JVM for about a week and I'm finding some good tones in their.
Its definately better than my previous Marshalls (2203X, DSL 100 & DSL 50).

I'm getting some nice Slayer tones and some great thrash tones (early Metallica, S.O.D., Testament, Exodus)

Thanks bro. Those tones are definitely in there man. I use this amp for my JP tribute band and my modern metal band that is kinda Machine Head-ish. Works for both with just a switch of the channel.

As has been said, for that style of music the 77's win. They focus a little more on the lower mids and it's so buzzy. Awesome playing! That nailbomb KILLS!!

Thank god I got in on the Rig-Talk mega buy at......................shit what did we pay????

Love my JVM.................Focking /W\etal!!!!

For that style of music, I imagine the KT-77's are a better fit, but I really prefer the EL34's. Especially the way they sound in the descending riff where you slide down about 1/4th of the way through.

Sounds awesome. I prefer the EL34's as they sound "juicier" to me

Your settings are almost dead on to what I use on my 205H. I have a Tung-Sol in V1 and an RFT in V2. The RFT in V1 dirtied up my clean channel too much and also added a bit of fuzz on the gain channels. But I may have to try it again after hearing this clip.

Sounds awesome! I think the 77's are a tad more aggressive sounding, but either way it was killer. Nice playing.

whoa bro, Killer tone from Killertone!
the 77's just have a little more for me, making me rethink my tubing of that amp.

Same here which Is why I said what I said in my first post! I think the 77's sound better for that style but I actually prefer the tone of the 34's especially on the chords

No doubt. Are we the only ones who still have them?? And what are they now, like $2200 or some crazy shit??

First, cool clip...

I think the KT77 have more bottom...that said, I dig the EL34s more...they're just richer and more interesting sounding. :D

I think me, you, and Skyhighrocks are the last dudes standing

Well, the EL34's are back in because I just think they sound more like a Marshall should. More complex and nastier, just like I like it. The KT77's are definitely cool but since I also play in a Judas Priest tribute band in addition to my modern metal band, the EL34's are just the way to go for me.
