I've always found the best looking tattoos are the ones that are well thought and planned out. Like a single larger piece or several pieces with a central theme and spaced accordingly. When it's a bunch of randomized and miscellaneous tattoos plastered all over the place to me looks like a hot mess of garbage and screams trailer trash.

Visible tattoos don't bother me and look nice when done well. I have a large piece on my calf that's nature themed. But I also advocate for tattoos in places that can be covered easily by clothing for when you need to be "professional". Nothing lands you that bank manager position quicker than something like these...

The one on the left obviously has a chequered past. That's all I've got...

Damn, I’ve got some tats I‘m not stoked about and considered getting them laser’d off but I’ll just cover them with something else, they’re faded to shit anyway.

Laser isn’t 100% effective and it takes multiple visits for just one tat. Some inks won’t burn out. There’s a dude that Tom Segura and his wife bust balls on all the time who did the ICP jugaloo face tat, he’s getting it removed and man…..never mind all the years no one took the guy seriously, he’s going to be learning his lesson every time that fuckin’ laser starts burning his face up with barely any ink getting burned out.

And while I can get comfy with a tattoo needle tearing up my arm for a few hours, I’m not so sure I‘d feel the same about a laser burning the fuck out of me for hours.

Fortunately, in the professional world, tattoos aren’t really looked down on like they used to be because people finally realized that having a tattoo has no reflection of your capabilities. If that were the case I would not hold the position I have now.
