Kemper Users, Rack or Toaster?

i have the toaster, which i bought off a friend, just use it at home // appartment -- > recording

i think i would probably want a rack version if i played with it live, but for home use the toaster looks cool and takes up less space imo

I love my toaster but of course rack is going to be better I would think...I guess if you had the powered toaster that would be pretty damn portable tho...if you wanted the powered one that is..

For home use, the rack unit, in a rack, is going to be way, way bigger than the toaster.

The Toaster has more led lights, that helps a little bit when wanting to see levels in a hurry. The rack has the usb port on the front vs the rear for the toaster. I have not done profiles. There are so many good ones for free and for purchase. I have both the rack and the toaster and use it for live gigs mostly. I am going to use the rack for my main rig and keep everything in there (cable snake, wireless units...so it's a fast setup at gigs.

It kills live!

Is it ridiculously versatile live where to an audience member they would think you actually have 3 or 4

different Amps there ?

A little off topic but you can also get it singing or screaming at much lower Volumes than Tube Heads ?

It is very versatile. Tons of different tones. You don't need to turn it up at all to get the tone, it's digital.
