Kramer Pacers, 84s and Barettas......

And aside from the other vids this one from Deraps kind of really sold me on it....... thats just killer tone. And was considering an EVH Wolfgang Standard but for the money here...... especially as the 84 comes with an FR off the bat....... and the JB ain't bad...... with push/pull...... I mean it's not compound radius or has dual graphite rods but overall from memory the Pacer neck wasn't too bad and I imagine this isn't that far off.

To be fair, Deraps could put a JB in a 200$ guitar and through his Germino or Superlead is still gonna slay. The value on those 84's on the used market is reasonable though. Kramer is value for your $ in that regard.

I like him because he's a nerd, he has a genuine interest ImO in delivering a quality product under Gibson/Epiphone/Kramer and seeing some other stuff like the thing he did regarding the Slash collection it kind of solidifies for me this dude knows what he's doing and what he's talking about.

He also used to work at Normans Rare Guitars as the GM before heading to Gibson so he probably has more knowledge and experience with guitars in general than the average guy or most would care to think.

I mean this was pretty sick and when I saw this after getting my 1959 Epi, I appreciate the fact the dudes a nerd and is busting out some quality gear and a lot of the Epi stuff that gets released he works on too and doesn't just leave it to Product Managers or whatever. A lot of the Gibsons coming out now aren't so bad, aside from some Murphy Lab stories....... the product is pretty damn good in general and it's hard to complain with the Gibson/Epiphone/Kramer product because they are really banging out some killer stuff nowadays.

Mark Agnesi isn't the CEO of Gibson lol

Shit what is he the Product Manager or "Director of Product Experience". What ever it is he ain't doing half bad......

Makes sense now lol but yeah I figured he was the CEO :dunno: :poke::LOL::ROFLMAO:

I miss my 1982 Kramer Pacer imperial. It was the best playing guitar I ever owned
Yeah the new ones are pretty dope, played a maple fretboard one. I have to say that maple body and that JB/JN combo is killer here especially that JN and that maple body makes a big difference too.

Very ddynamic and very fast necks too with a good amount of meat to them but thin where it counts.

True, he could probably play through a Yamaha Pacifica 112 and a Roland Cube and sound as good tbh but it kind of just gave me assurance that if a player like that is loving these things having all this other gear and options it's pretty killer. Tommy from the Music Zoo also broke it down pretty good and Jamie from Six String Alliance also explained a lot of the history there with 84 model. Not really after an EVH tone or anything but I just think it's a killer guitar with some good tone for a great price here. The push/pull is a big bonus too.

Had a 50$ gift card from Zzzounds too and couldn't apply an additional discount as it was already heavily discounted. All in all......

550$ and 32% discount from the original price of 800$ ....... so I mean don't really need another guitar but given the tones you hear, overall quality of the current production top end Pacers I played a year or two ago and how impressed I was with those and the opportunity cost...... nvm the newer ones while offering a nice bolt through FR nut, stingray painted back and front matching headstock, and Kramer USA pups gopher 900$...... after taxes this came out to like 6 bucks and some change....... not bad :dunno:

Got it for less than a new or used one in most cases too and aside from the opportunity cost the things look and sound killer too. Nvm what they gopher overseas or if your in Japan...... the one I got is new with manufacturers warranty too ^_^
