Not. My first new Kramer was actually a Striker, so sentimentally I dig them. But the bodies are plywood...they were the bottom of the Kramer barrel. If you want one, grab one off ebay for cheaper. The Focus line is a step up and were made in Japan by ESP. The Strikers were Korean made.

Not worth it, you will find one cheaper on Evilbay. I have a Kramer striker 100st That I bought back in 85. I will be turning this into a VH clone. The headstock is broken, So I will order a new one from Frankenstraat.

Yeah, dont get a striker, try to get a focus if you can.
Ive got an '85 focus1000, picked it up for about $200NZ (about $150US), plays real nice, has an OFR and came with a dimarzio super distortion.

I have a Kramer Striker and I love it. It's the guitar I use in all my YouTube videos and 90% of my clips. It plays better and sounds better than any of my other guitars.
