I like bright and had no issue with that. It was more this inherent brittle, unmusical quality to the tone and feel that's hard to put exactly in to words, partly also since it's been years now since I had it. I've had brighter amps even that didn't have those issuesI know Jens. He's a smart guy and does know his way around complicated amps. And yes, he was the authorize Diezel tech in the States for a while. Many don't love how bright his mods are, but that is a matter of taste.
Yeah, he had always been nice and polite in the past, however, the last time (through emails), he was very short (and rude) the last time I had emailed him about doing the simple battery mod for an ADA MP-1.Interesting. Jens was really nice and polite with me and got my amp back with the mod in less than 2 weeks. I just don’t like the way his stuff sounds. Like you and others said, it was brittle in sound and feel. Just not as pleasant/enjoyable to play. He did seem very passionate for sure, which I liked
