100 watt mono guitar power amp from a company (Guy in Germany) that never made it out of the gate. It's in really good shape and sounds great! I've gone back and forth about selling this for the last 3-4 years or so but, I'm not using it and kinda forgot I had it but was moving some stuff around and grabbed a rack case I thought empty but nope! The amp can run on 6L6 or EL34's with just bias adjustment. The amp has a bias feature that is a red light green light affair. 2 bias pots one for each set of tubes and you adjust each trim pot to get it's green light on and your done. It also has a "auto-ohm" thing that senses what ohm speaker cab is plugged into it. A pretty cool amp!
I'm not sure that would be a fair shootout??..lol! But! I haven't had any VHT's for 10-15 years maybe even longer.? I'd be really interested because this amp might just hold it's own going from my memory of them?
I grabbed it because of the good price, but mainly because it’s mono and sometimes you just wanna run a preamp mono not into two cabinets. Otherwise not running the risk of turning the other side on and frying the transformer. Also, it looks like it’s got a lower voltage setting.
