Bozo Biden admin gives Ukraine permission to strike targets deep in Russia. (edit: atacms = a supersonic tactical ballistic missile system)

First strikes have started

Trump needs to make a statement that Russia has the right to not only defend itself, but also launch retaliatory strikes in Ukraine. This should send a message to both Russia and Ukraine the US won't allow Ukraine off it's leash indefinitely.

Bozo Biden isn't as senile as he appears; he's actually more calculating, vindictive and evil than many of us thought.

Well we should be praying that Putin realizes that Trump will force criminal boss Zelensky into a peace deal in a couple months so all we gotta do is wait until Biden is done. This is just another screw up in a monster list of his failures as president. He's truly pitiable.

Unfortunately I think the intention is to sabotage a Trump peace deal by greatly escalating the conflict. If Putin holds back from previously defined red lines he looks weak and suffers tactical losses, so it puts him in a difficult position.

You are definitely right. Let's pray the situation is resolved as peacefully as possible and Biden is warehoused someplace in Scranton until he dies. That guy is a total failure. And we were expected to vote Kamala? Man people are unhinged here.....

I'm pretty fed up with the whole state of this country TBH, Trump or no Trump. I got the wife on board and we have been looking in Eastern Europe. Maybe buy a cheap MS home here and then an affordable place overseas. I don't like paying taxes to people who operate with criminal level intent and I wanna expand outward with music and stuff so I think it's time for me to "vote" by taking a bunch of my cash outta here.

I agree. It does tend to feel like a lost cause. I've considered moving a few times but didn't go any further with it due to inertia and familiarity. I also remind myself that while the political tenor and society has been deteriorating, there is still much to appreciate here. Not sure where you're thinking in Eastern Europe but I'd be concerned about the impacts of a wider war. But in general I think it's a good idea and might prove to be a brilliant one depending on how bad things get here.

Biden’s brain dead.
Obama is calling the shots, handed to him from his handlers up the ladder. 😉👍

that's why I think, as I said, the Trump needs to send a signal to both, by stating Russia has a right to defend itself and retaliate. Just as Bozo gave Ukraine the green light, Trump giving Putin a green light will send a strong message to Zelensky if he's not too coked out to recognize it.

Russia has a doctrine in place that allows them to respond to conventional weapons with nuclear weapons if they deem necessary. Ukraine and Bozo are playing with fire...though I don't think Putin will use nukes with Trump on the way.

I'm looking at Caribbean islands and Asia for second passport. The older I get, the more I realize my sailing goals are tempered with health. I'd hate to buy a 6-figure boat and get less than 5 years use of it, for example. If I get a boat, then a second passport from a Caribbean nation, otherwise likely Asia, or at least permanent residency.

I think the next 4-8 years is brief respite, the woke globalist demoncrats aren't finished yet.

Caribbean or Asia are up for consideration; as is moving to the US Virgin Islands...far enough away yet no need for a second passport which aren't cheap.

Crime is bad in most of the US Virgin Islands, and I won't blend in making me more of a target. The safe neighborhoods are pricey...many houses have bars on the windows and doors, for example.

Lots of options to consider. Shipping my gear to the VI might be costly too, but less than a second passport.

Either a respite or everything up to and including civil war. All I can say is that it didn't seem that great the first time around haha.

I love the Carib but there is nothing going on there. Beaches are mostly slow moving laid back places wherever they be. I'm still working age and wanna gig so that kind of negates beach life My wife really likes Montenegro but there isn't much of a music scene there. I don't care for oriental food or culture very much so I mostly been looking at orhtodox countries. I got a lot of research to do.

After a lot of looking and reading about the yacht life (and a little sailing too) it seems that unless you really want that the boat is mostly an anchor around your mobility because you have to be constantly vigilant about tides, winds, weather, etc etc. A 24 hour a day job. It has to be the center of your life. It'd be much easier and cheaper to buy a few different apartments or affordable homes and just fly where you wanted to go IMO. Just thinking out loud brother.

the first time around, Trump was naive and the swamp infiltrated his admin. This time around he's learned his lessons, for the most part, and he's got vengeance on top of it all - he's not going to waste time this time, or get distracted by uniparty establishment ruling parasites and their distractions.

I'll consider it a success if he does, or starts the following, in this order:

1) Closes and defends the border with US military, with authorization for use of deadly force.
2) Mass deportations of illegal invaders.

3) Ends at least some of the endless wars; and doesn't get deeper in the Israel / Iran conflict...but that will depend on Iran's actions. FAFO.

4) Cut taxes & eliminate taxes on social security.

5) Ends Dept of Education; and removes/punishes the public school indoctrination to focus on core skills, critical thinking, and civics; and resets school accreditation requirements to end the woke stupidity in colleges. (My son was accepted into his first choice University, and starts next fall; so this is very timely for us)

there's more, but 4 years with the swamp deep state and uniparty resistance isn't much time.

Hopefully he has learned some lessons and can get a handle on the situation. I just suspect the people he's up against are ingrained, entrenched and have set traps. And even if in the unlikely event that they are all cleared that doesn't mean they can't operate as an organized faction from outside of the government, causing many problems.

Yes, makes sense finding a place and culture that matches your goals and comfort.

I like Asian food, and culture; I've traveled to a few countries there for work and personal. Some countries have very good visas and retirement visas, where I can stay in the country for up to 90 days, leave for a weekend, and restart the 90-day cycle over and over.

I'm not interested in gigging. I want to get better playing keys, and learning Ableton Live Suite so I can make my own backing tracks, songs, etc., just as a hobby. I'll have more time to do this once I retire...I start something, then it's weeks or months before I get back to it and forget everything.

If I manage to have significantly more wealth than I estimate in retirement, the sailboat would be more likely. If I don't, then yes, sailing would need to be the center and focus of my life. Now, I may get one of those smaller trailerable trimarans instead, I just won't be able to sail as far safely, so a compromise to do both...lower marina costs, and maintainance, since I can work on it myself on the trailer.

Cheers!

Taxes on social security is the biggest load of bullshit in this country.

My guitar player went to Thailand on a tour with some other guys last year. There is a lot to like but some weird stuff too, like no pointing at images of the king or letting your toes point towards a buddha statue. At least, that's what I recall him telling me. You ain't even supposed to fold a newspaper with the king's image on it. That's a little backwards for me but otherwise Thailand does seem like a nice place.

They have rules against using vaccines on livestock or growing GMO's I think. He said the food was of amazing quality. Maybe I'd change my mind if I visited, I dunno. Seems like every place has it's good and it's bad, it's all about what you want. Was watching a vid on Sri Lanka yesterday. Dude was living in an old restaurant on the beach and his total expenses were $400/mo. His priciest month was like $600 They asked him if he ever eats out. He said no because all the restaurants serve the same curried rice i.e they are all the same, lol.

Many years ago I was part of a global team, and got to travel Asia for work. Each location I had local teams that would take me out to eat, drink and entertainment, and I was able to ask many questions. Singapore was great, it was described as "Asia light" and good homebase to explore more remote areas out side of cities and main tourist areas.

I haven't been to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, or Korea; been to Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, India, some several times. Southern Japan and the southern islands are at the top of my list, with a stop in Kyoto on the way; Tokyo is "extreme big city" like Beijing, Shanghai, etc., not really what I want.

I don't want to do it all in one trip, so top of the current list is Kyoto, southern Japan (Kyushu Island) and maybe some of the islands, except Okinawa. Then, next trip Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and maybe Laos on a longer duration trip, using Thailand as a home base since I've been there several times.

My BIL married a Philipino, still living in Minnesota but bought a house in the Phillipines. Very reasonable price and COL but it's important to know the safe and secure areas. Tropical is attractive to old guys like him (and me).

Moving to these cheap offshore places is a cool thought.

My concern is healthcare and saftey.
I've been to many, and would often walk around exploring; some places looked shady and very poor, and I never had a problem. I think most places in Asia are safe; out in the countryside of some could be dangerous; there are places in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, with a majority muslim population, and areas that have been radicalized that are known to be unsafe. Most of the Philippines are Christian (Roman Catholic); Thailand is mostly Buddhist but has areas dominated by Islam that are not safe...

That said, if you live in the cheaper areas to save money you could be less safe. There are expat enclaves in most Asian countries, they cost more, and have better security, but you're not living local. e.g., BCG in Manilla

There are many places throughout Asia like this. Good to stay while you explore the country and discover other areas IMO
