Got here safe and sound! Starting tomorrow with the master Michael Wagner. First thing I am doing is playing Nuno's rig! Then all our gear! I am gonna shoot HD video of what we do so I will post youtube clips as soon as I can!

Can't wait for those videos Jeff! Post em ASAP!

Let us know all about Nashville, including any and all great meals. hahaha.

I guess using the word landed is a poor choice. I drove...got a explorer full of amps! I am letting Michael drive everywhere. Cant wait to make some noise!

I can't wait to hear the end results Jeff. Can you make detailed notes of the recording process? Video would be a bonus.

Royer 121
Tg2
Head song
Mw1

I wonder if he is still using that setup

Just got back to my hotel. Holy shit this guy is a genius! The stuff he can do to recordings is unbelievable! 2 tracks done 2 to go! EG5 is just killing, it's his favorite tone in his studio, with SL2x coming in a close second! Got to stand in the cabinet room with unreal volume! More to come!

Jeff, are you using Mod50 or M4+RT250?
When he said "car full of amps" that's what I would've thought  hopefully it is!!

Both. Tracked with EG5 once then reamp with any other modules in the M4 set up. MOD 50 on its own. Ran the Rebel 30 direct sounded great but needed some air. So just to have fun he tracked EG5 with it and holy cow! His studio is unreal! The stories debunk a lot of "what people think they know about bands and what they used for recording. Some of the recordings I have listened to are unreal and they never made it to press due to the record company thinking its not what they wanted.

Today..play thru the MP1 set up from Nuno, White Lion, Skid Row. Same patch on the MP1 for all the albums...but as Michael said, they sounded totally different! Then back to the board to record clean and mid gain stuff then the Renegade and Rebel 20 and 30 heads. Records, pictures tons of candy and to boot he drives a Smart car and riding in it with him was unnerving. He's german and thinks its his BMW!

I am still shaking from the playing in the speaker room with 8 4x12's running EG5 on 4 of them and Vx on the other 4! When I looked back at him thru the window he just was smiling!
