Landed in Nashville!

Big day today. Keith Howland was in the studio laying down tracks. Michael said to me man Keith is a great player and I agree so fortunate to have Keith as a friend and Egnater family member.

We had him play short little clips of the module starting on channel A then in the track switching to channel B. Did all the modules, Rebel line and Renegade. Then he played over the four songs he and a couple buddies did. A country tune, a blues tune, a classic rock tune and a modern tune. They sound great! I am having such a great time. Had dinner tonight with Michael, his girlfriend Tina and Sarge from Creation Audio labs. Took video but for some reason my camera won't play with my mac so I will work on the video when I get home if it has some value.

Double Trouble productions is expensive, but holy shit what you get is more than worth it. If you think you got it nailed recording with your computer and pro tools, think again there is nothing like being in the studio with the guy who knows all the tricks and doesn't use plug ins or sims he uses mics. One album he did for a well know guitar player had 19 mics on cabinets. He knows how to mic ups amps!

Yes I am gonna track tomorrow on modules that I want to. I am no wanker. Just a rhythm player who listens to the amp! But what could be better than saying some ideas of tunes you have were recorded and mixed by MIchael Wagner. No record deal here but sure will have some killer guitar tone for the rest of my life!

When work meets awesome pleasure ... Lucky guy  !

Well he is an engineer. He uses a lot of math when he is recording especially with mic placements. Cool phasing stuff. He loves what we did at the end of the night. He brought up all the tracks of modules, Rebel 30 and Renegade and played them all at once. It sounded so weird but so cool! Kinda like the 50 car horns on running with the devil. I said what and he said ya they recorded 50 car horns to get the intro sound on that song! That is the kind of stuff he just blurts out!

What a cool report so far Jeff. Im really excited to hear the clips!

We are not Mr. Wagener by any stretch but we've been getting some ridiculous tones in the studio as well, particularly with SL2x and EG5 so I can only imagine what you have been hearing!!!

  8 412's,bet it was overwhelming! He's probably sterile now

Been a rhythm player for 24 yrs and just started playing lead for the last couple of yrs because of my Egnater amps. They do something that no other amp has and allows me to hear and feel the liquidness and tone. Im still no lead player but it has opened up my ability to play smoother and be more creative with both rhythm and lead. :D

Same here when we recorded. A studio joy to not struggle with guitar tones.

and I'll repeat what I said on the other thread in this one too because I think it bears mentioning that Bruce and Jeff are listening to what we have requested and are putting together serious gear, serious recording and serious playing to give you the best demos possible. Gonna be nice!
