Fucking beast of a rig :inlove: :inlove:

I'm actually starting to think that maybe i should get a rack tuner as well :dunno: I mean i currently have a pedal tuner, but i think it would be easier to go with a rack one as i bought the Replifex now.

Rack tuners are nice, especially on stage when your eyes at 50 aren't quite what they were just a decade ago.  I've actually since moved the rack tuner to my small bass rack that I actually gig with occasionally.

Yeah, caught this bug while on corona lockdown.
It started slow then rapidly grew beyond the rack case I bought.
Rack gear is like potato chips.

Found a replifex for 110€ from a local group, might get that one if everything's OK with it.

That is the ONLY rack unit I've found yet, that nails an MXR 117 Flanger tone.

Best Wishes
Bought the Replifex! Now i just have to wait till it arrives to me.

Curious what you think of the Replifex!

A couple years ago I started putting a rack system together for church. I do not want to keep dragging my 1974 super lead out of the house. I bought a Synergy SN-2, a BE-BB, and a HBE. I picked up a Mosvalve 962, ran the dry sound into an old Marshall cab with greenbacks. For 6 months or so I used my pedalboard for effects (pitch shift, chorus, reverb, delay) while I researched what effects processor to get. Found a deal on a pcm 80 and bought it. Very quickly I realized I was in over my head, you did not dial it in like you would a processor meant for live guitars (g major, etc). It did sound incredible, I just did not have the desire to learn how to use it. Sold it, bought a spx90. You can only use 1 effect at a time, sold it.
During this time I bought a Mosvalve tube amp, one with 4 6L6 tubes, sold the 962.
Bought a mpx1, programming was going to sink me too so I bought Italo’s presets, all I can say is wow! They are good. I run the Synergy preamps through the marshall cab for the dry tone. I run direct out left/right into the mpx1, one side out to the mosvalve, the other into an EH 44 Magnum, both into guitar cabs with celestion speakers. I feel like God is coming through my rig, it sounds awsome.
I’ll take some pictures next week when I am at church.

Isaiah 23:4 "Those who emulate tube tones instead of real tube tones in a 1974 Super Lead will be shunned".

JK.    Yes, dragging a tube amp around can get old fast. Dude, I used to gig years ago with a Mosvalve MV-962 (with a Sansamp PSA-1 and Marshall 4x12) and I was constantly getting praise from people about my tones. I've told the story on the forum before but at one gig, some guy came up to me and said "where is your Mesa Rectifier man, I heard a Rectifier" and I showed him my rig. At first he didn't believe me and was like "no way, now way, where is it" and I just told him THAT is where I'm getting my tones from.

I think it gave the guy hope that great tones don't have to cost an arm and a leg. :)
