We finally now know how he consistently gets some of the best tones on this forum.
Leave it.

Leave it. Start using metal fingerpicks, it happens much quicker especially with nitro.

Leave it. It’s like Cindy Crawford, or Lemmy now, take your pick

this is a rare one where I would say fix it. I would try and get it seamlessly perfect but it is an eye sore enough to at least work on it haha

You should see my custom Spectors. After all these years of gigging, there's bald spots and dings all over them. Those wear marks where we anchor our hands and wrists is where we bond with them. These only show that the instruments are loved. Keep those symbols of love. Don't fake them. Play them in.

Clear coat then buff. It will be more comfy and look just the same. Just use any clear varnish at hand.

Here is a pic of my blue nitro. It also has the same wear, but the nitro is thinner and it doesn’t feel as noticeable.

Matching will be almost impossible with white. You could do it, but you'd likely have to paint a large area and feather it out to match or it's going to end up making you very unhappy.

I'm with racer, leave it

Unless you're going to sell it or something?

Surprised Dave is playing such a woke guitar. It's slowly shedding it's white privilege, revealing it's darker roots right before his eyes
