Saw them back in 98 and thought they were gonna be too washed up to be any good and didn't expect much but I grabbed a few tickets for probably $25/$30 a pop, turned out to be one of the best shows ever. They absolutely killed it and glad I got to witness one of greatest rock legends of our time.

To be honest, I would have paid almost anything to see them in 2007 when they did that last ever 02 arena gig.

you and me both, didn't even have a chance!

i have watched that live show so many times its stupid. some things are just not meant to be...oh well

i will catch the next show plant does in town though, need to see him before its too late

While JPJ would be the focus of most of my attention , I am after all a bass player, calling him the “ front man” and calling Coda the quintessential LZ album leads me to conclude this is bullshit.

I’m with you !

I’ve seen so many people again bitching and bitching and bitching. I love that show and I play it on my 4K all the time. I would’ve loved to have been present.

I saw Page Plant twice, saw John Paul Jones play live, he’s actually a damn good guitar player.

Jimmy page is the ‘best sloppy’ guitar player of the century in my book, there’s no other band quite like them. So much great music before they even hit 30 years old.

dude the amount of bitchin about the O2 show....lets just be glad we got to be alive for it, but hell yea, I WISH i could have been there!

all three of the remaining members are just phenomenal musicians, i mean for fucks sake they've only been doing it on the big stage since they were in their teens/20s?!

Jimmy Page is the GOAT in my book too, i just can't ever get enough of his playing

When they did the show in 2008 at O2 they were talking about a tour. My bass player was well connected and called me and asked if I would be interested in opening for them on the west coast. Unfortunately it never happened. Plant was the one that stopped it.
Plant even recommend my singer Terry to do it.
Terry could nail Robert Plant and Jim Morrison.
I opened for a lot of bands. But opening for Zeppelin would have been the ultimate.

total left field question but not Terry Glaze right?

They were ok I guess. Shame to think how great they could have been if Page had been able to play through a Larry or a Cameron or even a MK2C+.

Saw Zeppelin once in 75 at the Nassau Coliseum and twice in 1977 at MSG in NYC.
The 2nd show I saw in 77 I sat in the 6th row center and that is the last memory I have of seeing Zeppelin. It will never be the same as it was before.
