This…is Daisy.

She was a pregnant 1 year old that was surrendered (as part of a rather large group of surrendered animals) and landed in a local shelter. We fostered Daisy for the duration of her pregnancy, delivered her 8 pups in our foyer, and raised them for ~9 weeks. Daisy and 7 of her pups quickly found homes. We kept one female.

This is Remi at around 13 weeks old. He is a miniature Goldendoodle. He is 18 weeks old today.

We brought him into the family shortly after our Olde English Bulldogge Henry (I posted pics of Henry earlier in this thread) passed away unexpectedly and suddenly.

Remi is a great dog. Smart, friendly, full of personality, and eager to please us. Remi has never met a stranger which has made socializing him so easy.

He sleeps through the night and it only took about 6 days to potty train him. Has learned all of his basic commands and quite a few tricks. He also gets along great with our Maine Coons.

He loves tummy rubs and cuddles. He also loves playing; especially if it involves toys, dirt, or water. The stinkier the better it seems. He can be going balls to the wall and if you pick him up and cuddle him he calms right down and enjoys the time with his human.

We know he cannot replace Henry, but he has brought a joy back to our home that was lost with Henry’s passing. He has made his own place within the family.

Rick James. Sadly passed away a week ago at the young age of 11 from complications stemming from COPD, respiratory infection, and diabetes remission. Adopted him almost 3 years ago and wanted to give him one final home since he's been in and out of the shelter quite a few times. Big 16 pound teddy bear. Super good dude. It was rough for all of us when he passed. Wife's aunt passed the same day so very rough all around.

Ashy Larry. Street rat I found at work last year at about 6 months old. Super cuddly with humans, but likes to scrap/"play" with the other felines.

Charlie Murphy. 4 years old that we adopted about a year and a half ago. Semi-feral and hated being around humans. Warmed up to our son after a few months, then took about a year after that to warm up to me. Man of the house now that RJ passed, and he's definitely changed since.

Sorry to hear about Rick James.

Cody was a stray last year that hung out on our porch for two weeks before we took him in. He won me over when he helped me change the oil on the boat over a weekend. Since then, he’s well fed & he loves to walk all over my amplifiers.

Cool cat:

I see it's been a while, but I wanted to chime in. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your pet Kali - she was a beautiful dog. Losing a pet is never easy, and my thoughts are with you in this challenging time. I have a lovely hamster, but there's no good picture to attach here, as he's always moving when I try to take the picture. I also like reading informative articles about hamsters at https://www.thepetproperty.com/hamsters/what-should-you-do-if-your-hamster-ate-chocolate/. Thanks for sharing Kali's photo, and I hope you're doing okay.

7 reactions and 2 replies since you joined last week, all in a thread about pets... and your avatar is animals?

You know this is a gear forum, right?

How do you want me to show it to you?
How do I want you to show me you're not a bot? Priceless!

Tell ya what's even-better:
The first pic of what I'm supposed to believe is your dog happens to be sprawled across the internet. I see at least 13 different sites are hosting it, most of them Russian. You're from Miami, right?

Sorry. Epic fail.
