Picked this made in USA up today cheeeap. Anyone know where I could find a tremelo arm for this Jackson made Floyd? It's made in 96, not sure about the model specific or anything but it sounds and plays killer!

Get a German Floyd bar/collar assembly from AllParts or any other online source. Should fit fine.

EMG 85 or Duncan Full Shreds are both working for me nicely now!

JB for the moment but I have recently bought Perpetual Burn to give it a try.
In the past I used SD SH-5. Not too bad either.

I like the Custom5 in my soloist. Helps even out the tone I think.

I think this is one of the short-lived SL2s. I always wanted one because I loved the blank board. I think these had JT-580s, so that's what the arm will need to fit (I'm not sure if those are interchangeable with anything or not).

I know this is an old thread, here's my 1986 custom Jackson Soloist. It plays like butter, sounds fantastic, and has ridiculous sustain. You would never know that this is a 35-year-old instrument.

They come up fs throughout the year a few times usually on here

85 Soloist Custom, and then two from 1986:

86 Soloist Custom, then an 87 and an 88, both refinished for me:

Another pair of refinished 1988 Soloists, and then the prototype for the late 90s Shannon run

Finally a pair of recent Custom Selects. The seafoam has a Titanium Floyd on it, and now has a pickup ring which matches the pickup

What amp is that boogie ? The head ?
